A message from Agile Fleet President Ed Smith

Greetings Agile Fleet Customers and Friends,Agile President Ed Smith

In 2014, Agile Fleet sought to enhance our service to the fleet community beyond product offerings of fleet software, telematics, key control systems, and other fleet technologies. The first step was to create a new and improved website that did more than sell products. The goal was to become a go-to resource for fleet professionals with informational offerings via blogs, articles, e-books, guides, webinars, case studies, and many other educational opportunities.

By Spring of 2015, we launched our new site which has enjoyed 100% growth in number of visitors and a 30% increase in returning visitors over the previous website. Monthly blog posts and numerous e-books, webinars, and articles have helped contribute to this growth, and we are now taking the next step to expand our resources even more.

Thanks to a suggestion by a CAFM customer of ours, we reached out to National Association of Fleet Administrators (NAFA) to explore ways to continue to diversify our offerings. In October of 2015, Agile Fleet officially teamed up with NAFA to offer educational opportunities to fleet managers who have earned the Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) or Certified Automotive Fleet Specialist (CAFS) accreditations. CAFMs and CAFSs can now receive credit toward their recertification requirement by participating in Agile Fleet’s professional content development, which include authoring a white paper, writing a blog post, serving as an interview subject, speaking alongside Agile Fleet subject matter experts during a trade show or webinar presentation, and a whole host of other options.

We think the CAFM designation is an excellent way for Fleet Managers to continue to grow professionally while staying on the cutting edge of fleet management. We welcome all CAFMs and CAFSs to join us in creating useful content for other fleet industry professionals to access. If you are interested in earning points towards recertification, share with us your interest areas and we will match you with currently available opportunities.

“…worldwide model of Best Practices.”

I have had the honor of working with the well-qualified individuals comprising Agile Fleet’s staff.  They have been more than willing to address issues in a very customer-friendly and professional manner.  To me, your outfit is a great example of 'Best Practices' and may well serve as a worldwide model.”
